Thought Leadership Summit
The Benelux OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit is taking place on the afternoon of the ASIS Security Management Congress at The Hague Marriott.
The programme promises to be lively and thought provoking. Confirmed speakers include, Assistant Professor Clarissa Meerts who will discuss and examine issues with corporate investigations, and whether there should be closer public-private co-operation to address them. There will be copies of her new book available too which many will find interesting; there are not many they cover investigations in the way Clarissa does. Daan Weggemans, a researcher from the Institute of Security and Global Affairs will explore the role of family members of individuals who have joined jihadis groups and how to deal with them. Developments in the way the public and private sector collaborate in crime control and crime prevention will also be discussed by Jaap J. De Waard, a senior advisor at the Netherlands Ministry of Security and Justice.
The event is expected to attract 200+ leading security professionals from across the region and the whole day will culminate with the presentation of the Outstanding Security Performance Award (OSPAs).
If you, your company or someone you know has performed at an exceptional level – enter them before the deadline. The security sector deserves to be formally recognized for the contribution and excellent work it is doing in helping keep us all safe!
